Dream Creature

Had some pretty awesome post-apocalyptic dreams last night. One of them involved me and a couple other people going out to find a dog to keep as a companion. We came upon a stone wall with a small hole in the bottom in the dirt, supposedly this was the place we wanted to be. We all waited for whatever it was to appear and a long centipede came out along with it's "babies" ... well after it came through the hole the centipede babies were actually these adorable little furry hedgehog things. In my dream they were tiny bugs... The mother (now not a centipede, but a larger hedgehog creature) was giving birth and someone in the group poked her tummy to see if she had anymore babies, I guess we thought we would get a dog or something I don't know. Some kind of fairy godmother lady was upset and talked to this other fairy person about how they needed to do something. It then went into some kind of battle with the ice queen from the gender bent Adventure Time.

Yeahhh it was weird. I thought these guys were ADORABLE though. They had fur and a stripe down their back of darker fur. I wanted one in my dream lol! No wonder, they're flippin' adorable. Anyway felt like drawing them. Didn't turn out great but hey! Whatever! Now that I'm not dreaming I'm imagining them as small mammals, the babies are a bit lighter in color and in this picture they are too young to have opened their eyes yet. They eat plants and fruit, mostly leaves. They dig dens in the dirt, or use ones they have found. This den has sand on it's floor, which is quite common with this species.
